BOOKING AND POLICIES

Hello and THANK YOU for your interest in choosing me as your artist. Below is a rundown of the details of working with me: how to book, what to expect, and policies. 
2025 Booking Schedule
Appointment requests are now OPEN for December and January 2025 for FLASH or CUSTOM REALISM/ILLUSTRATIVE REALISM only at this time.  Flash designs are a flat rate, see Instagram for details. Please note- custom work is $50 minimum and will be quoted at a FLAT RATE based on size/complexity at an apprentice rate.  As realism takes time, I don't want us to feel rushed.  Generally small pieces will run $50-75, medium $100-150, large $175+. 
The Basics
  • Everyone is welcome: all bodies, all identities, all complexions. The studio is a private shop and a safe space for all with no judgment. 
  • Booking is offered via the booking form on this website only (button on the top or bottom of the page!).  Please include your design idea with one or two reference images and placement ideas and approximate size.  You can also send me a photograph of the area to be tattooed if we are working around other pieces.  All bookings require a $50 non-refundable deposit. Once I receive the deposit your date will be secure. Please see the deposit section for further information. 
  • I am a licensed tattoo artist with the State of Wisconsin and am Bloodborne Pathogen certified by the American Red Cross. 
  • You must be 18 years or older on the day of your appointment and must bring a government-issued photo ID to your appointment. 
  • Please let me know if this is your first tattoo! 
  • You may bring one guest to your appointment, please refrain from inviting more than this due to our shop size.

  • Lucidity Arts Studio, Hartland, Greater Milwaukee, WISCONSIN
Rates + Availability:
  • Cash or Venmo.  General price will be quoted and communicated prior to booking. 
  • Nonrefundable, nontransferrable first-hour deposit required to book each appointment ($50). 
  • Hours: Generally daytime hours from 9: 30 a.m. to 3p.m.,  limited evening appointments at 5p.m. may be available upon request.  I do not tattoo on Sundays. 
Do you have a wait list?
  • No. In the event that a last-minute opening becomes available, I will post the available date and time on my Instagram stories.  
What kinds of projects do you do?
  • I am currently offering mainly pre-drawn flash projects and custom work in my stipple or dotwork realism/illustrative style. I am only booking blackwork (no color). 
  • Predrawn Projects (AKA “FLASH”)
    • I post one to two flash pages per month on the first of the month to my Instagram and website.  These designs are always a flat rate. They’re intended to be tattooed only once and exactly as they appear with flexibility on size depending on location.   They are first claimed, first served!  Please request via email and describe or screen capture which design you would like to book.  If a design is already claimed it will be listed as “claimed” on the original Instagram post. 
  • Custom Projects:
    • I love taking inspiration from your story and turning it into a piece for you to honor forever.  First up, I always offer free consultations via video app or at the shop.  Otherwise, you can email me your idea with one to two reference images to go from, along with placement and approximate size, and from there I will confirm your request to ensure we’re on the same page.  I will secure your date and begin working on your design only after I receive the non-refundable $50 deposit.  You will NOT see drafts of a design in advance; please make sure you are comfortable with that before booking.  You can be sure that it will be in my style of work.  We will have plenty of consultation time built into your appointment, and designs are easy to alter, so please don’t worry about speaking up if there is an element you don’t like. That said, please be clear about any specific expectations you have in your original request. 
I do NOT work with:
  • Color Tattoos (at this time)
  • Modifications to other tattoo artists’ work, or direct copying of another artist’s design unless it is a classical art piece in the public domain.
  • Minors/pregnant or breastfeeding people
Deposit
  • A nonrefundable, nontransferable deposit is required for each appointment booked. It is ONLY applicable to the piece and placement as detailed on the submission form on the date booked. I allow one reschedule for an emergency such as illness etc only if I am contacted at least 4 hours before the appointment. After the first reschedule OR any cancellation within 7 days of your appointment will result in loss of deposit. 
  • Any of the following will cause the deposit to be forfeited:
    • Requesting significant changes to the design or placement 
    • Not showing up to your appointment
      • Arrivals later than 30 min. without notice will be counted as a no-show. Lateness beyond 15 minutes after your appointment time is not guaranteed. 
What about all the waste generated in tattooing?
  • I am committed to using eco-centered practices in my art and tattoo process. My setup includes as many biodegradable options as it can, many from Good Judy’s line of biodegradables such as station covers, ink caps, razors and bottle/machine bags.  Check out their website for more on the materials you’ll encounter at your appointment. 
Do you offer touch ups?
  • Pieces are designed with longevity in mind and crafted with care. If you have questions about how your piece has healed, please reach out within six months of the last appointment. Touchups within 6 months are free. Please email me or stop by the shop to show me what might need a boost!
